Kicking off the celebration will be the annual Hall of Fame Game that, for the first time ever, will be played on a Thursday night. The preseason classic is scheduled for Thursday, August 3, 2017 in the new Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium.
The following night, members of the Class of 2017 will be presented their Hall of Fame Gold Jackets during the nationally televised Enshrinees’ Gold Jacket Dinner held at the Canton Memorial Civic Center.
Then on Saturday, August 5, in Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium, the Class of 2017 will be formally enshrined into the Hall of Fame during the nationally televised Enshrinement Ceremony. More than 120 returning Hall of Famers are expected to be on stage to welcome the newest members to the Hall of Fame fraternity.
The multi-day festivities wrap up with two exciting events on Sunday, August 6. The first is the Enshrinees’ Roundtable, an afternoon event held in the Canton Memorial Civic Center. The Roundtable is an unscripted up-close-and-personal discussion with Hall of Famers. Then, later that evening, the annual Concert for Legends will be held in Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium. The concert will once again feature a nationally-known recording act that will be announced soon.
