Marshall's 18 receptions is also tied for the second most ever in an NFL game.
Terrell Owens set the NFL record in 2000 as a member of the San Francisco 49ers when he caught 20 passes against the Chicago Bears. Owens broke the long-standing mark of Los Angeles Rams Hall of Fame end Tom Fears who had 18 catches against the Green Bay Packers in a game in 1950.
