Floyd Little to receive an honorary J.D. and the Distinguished Alumni Award
Floyd Little, an alumnus of the Sturm College of Law, will receive an honorary J.D. and the Distinguished Alumni Award from the University of Denver. The former Denver Broncos running back will be awarded both honors during the University’s Alumni Weekend, May 17-18.
Little graduated in 1975 with a Master’s degree in judicial administration from the University of Denver after playing nine seasons in the National Football League. He played his entire professional career in Denver and was one of the original members of the Broncos’ Ring of Fame. Little was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2010.
He will receive the Distinguished Alumni Award during a celebration that evening and he will be awarded an honorary J.D. on Saturday morning during the Commencement ceremony for the Sturm College of Law.
